AH faculty plans for AY 2013-2014

The Arts and Humanities faculty presents its faculty development workshop at the Alcology Resort in Boljoon, Cebu last June 5.

“It was an eye opening experience, mind splitting reality of things” said Professor Ulysses Sison.

The main purpose of the meeting was to create new four update syllabi for the Fine Arts Program, Mass Communication and General Education subjects. Also to create a new creative writing program. The Humanities division faculty teachers are still discussing about the appropriate name for the new program.

According to Sison, one of the primary purposes of the meeting is to elevate the Mass Communication Program into a Department so that Arts and Humanities would have funds of its own.

With the expertise of the dean from the College of Fine Arts from UP Diliman, the said event was substantiated with meaningful insights and filled with inspiring ideas for the AH professors and for the university as well.

All expenses were shouldered by the Administration.

As a result, they came up with new program and new syllabus and the things they need for that alone.
